We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative, detail oriented assistant to join to Jetting Jewels blog team. This role will primarily begin with assisting in administrative and basic social media management, with plenty of opportunity for first-hand experience in content creation and strategy.
This position may vary between 20-30 hours a week (with opportunity for a full-time position following a 60-day assessment period). You must be available to work outside the typical business hours (9-5) and occasionally on weekends. There will be flexibility to work from home as well.
Job Responsibilities & Requirements:
- Assist in management of social media channels
- Communicate with brands, publicists, and outlets regarding collaborations opportunities, projects, deliverables, etc.
- Knowledge of Lightroom/Photoshop is a huge plus
- Minimum of two years experience in an administrative or marketing role
- Excellent communication skills
- Detail-oriented – looking for someone who loves working in the details
- Strong organizational skills – you must be able to multitask and manage multiple projects
- Able to work independently, and thrives in a structured as well as a flexible environment (e.g. from home)
- Excellent references – previous assistant experience not required but helpful
- Self-starter and resourceful
- “No task too big or too small” mentality
- Willing and eager to take on new challenges and learn new things
- Photography skills a huge plus
