A Coat for Winter & Spring

The weather is starting to warm up this week so naturally I want to wear all the jackets before…well, I have to put them away for the season.  Winter is always quick in SoCal so those opportunities are fleeting.  I like to invest in coats that are not only warm but easily transitions to Spring.

I wore this color block sherpa jacket in Healdsburg last week and I’ve never had so many compliments on any one piece.  It is an eye catcher for sure!  It definitely kept me warm in the 40 degree weather of Northern California.  They make for the perfect layer of warmth over any dressier look, but I personally love it paired with something a bit more simple, like jeans and a turtleneck. I love anything fluffy and colorful this time of year to add a little extra something to a casual look.  The boxy structure and super soft sherpa material makes one comfortable piece to throw over everything! Versatility is key for transition pieces.

The neutral pastel tones also makes it a great item to invest in for Spring.  Here are a few cozy jackets I’m loving for the Spring transition….
