Falling for Fall Hues

End of August is that weird time of year – Fall fashion is all round us, but the weather is not cooperating.  Currently, Southern California is experiencing a heatwave…sooo that cozy Fall sweater is going to have to wait.

The first Fall transition I make is usually color! Fall is my favorite season for so many reasons, and not the least of them are the rich colors…like caramel, army greens and deep fuchsia.

My love for dresses is really never ending. I couldn’t pass up this adorable dress from Free People. I usually wear loose fitting dresses with a belt to cinch the waist, but against my norm, I decided to leave this swing dress flow the way it was intended to be.  The fit is so comfortable and features my favorite detail…hidden pockets! For cooler temps, the long sleeves will be great, and pair it with OTK boots for extra Fall feels.
