Happy Valentine’s Day! I hope you have big plans today. And if you don’t, that’s ok too. Truthfully, John and I are not much of Valentine’s Day fans. We love the idea of celebrating love, but hate the fact that its now about overpriced flowers, chocolates and fixed price meals. So we opt to stay in, cook dinner and enjoy our time together san fancy reservations. But we do give small gifts though…we must not skimp on everything. ;). John is actually traveling this week so we’ll do our date night in this weekend. We might actually try to sneak away to a movie!
Is it just me or when its Valentine’s Day we just want to wear red and/or pink? This dress is perfect to celebrate love, but also the perfect Spring dress. I love the ruffles, the wrap tie detail and basically everything about it. I also love the linen material, but I’m not going to lie, the wrinkle prone fabric is not always easy for me to manage. Hence why I’m looking a little “unmanaged” at the moment. Oh well, keeping it real! And what’s real is that is I just don’t have time or love to iron. But I didn’t want that to stop me from wearing this cutest dress.
Also best part…this dress is way under $100!
